Less meat.

Just recved my medical check sheet this morning.
It said that i need to cut on beans, shells, beer and meat.
SHIT!!
Turning me into a Vegetarian = Kill me now!
However I really need to think of having less meat.

I had a wierd dream last night:
I was Naked having lunch with my OJT in Nakai's Canteen.
Naked attending the Japanese Class.
Naked talking with some girl by the way who I've never met before.
I was all the way Naked.
And when I try to look down, there was a light buble THERE...

Don't get encumbered by history,Go off and do something wonderful!!

Too Much Vodka

I've have too much Vodka. Right now, i'm feeling dizzy.
The ratio was like 1:8. I'm still a "Bi*ch"!

Kill Some Hormone

100 push-ups a day would help me to kill some Hormone and Adrenalin.
ICE+Juice+Vodka; ICE+Coke+Vodka. C# code. That's my night.

Weekends are hard

Weekends are hard. Especially rainy weekends. You have to stay in your dorm alone. Keep your mouth shut for the whole day. It makes me feel like killing myself.

Still stuck in Internal Messenger. It's a nightmare to debug you code with webservice calls.
2 more papers to read and a prototype to build in the next 2 days. But it feels really good to go to work. At least you can say something.(Though the Jnglish sometimes...)

Just had 2 cups of Vodka mixed with Juice. The ratio was like 1:20. Someone may call me a "Bi*ch". Ok, so much for the day. Milk -> Shower -> bed time with a DAMN hard pillow & an air con which goes off every 3 hours...

I killed HER!!!

My virginal experience with Ms. COCKROACH in Japan took place on a cold & clear Saturday night. When I was busy talking to my parent via MSN, she(or maybe he) took her(his) way in.
I ended this GORGEOUS experience with one of my slippers N' shouting the F word.

Lost

We were lost last night getting back after class.
We took a express train to FujiSawa.
Actually we were too excited on seeing a express traing pulling in. The only thoughts flashed in my mind was "6 stops, we'll gonna be home."
I fell asleep after sitting down right beside the door. When I woke up again, people were getting out of the car. And there was a sign on the platform which reads "FujiSAWA"! Oh Jesus!
We waited in the blistering cold for like 30 mins hoping to get another express. The cold was like penetrating(I was wearing a T-shirt and a thin overcoat), and people around us were speaking a foreign language that we can't understand)
"Kill me, Kill me now!" I said to myself.
It was 1.5 hours later when I got home.

Thursday, November 23, 2006

I got high last night. Can't fall asleep easily.
The J Pillow is a f**ker. It's small, hard and also slips away at midnight. I gotta get rid of it ASAP.

Wednesday, November 22, 2006

Last night, the NHK people came again for the TV fee.
It's funny that we are asked to pay for like 1360 yan every 2 month for only 2 channels.
So to scare these people off, I've pasted a note on my door which reads:
A:"What do you come here for?"
B:"e -- do--, NHK...." (e--do-- is something that Japanese people always like to say, it;s like "uhmm")
A:"Dude, U gotta be kidding me. I can't even understand a single Japanese character. You can just simply take my TV away... I don't even need that..."

I overslept this morning. Got up around 8 and hurried to the railway station after a cup of milk and some bread.
The weather's been nice these days. After the rain on weekends, it's be clear and shiny. The Japanese people call it "小春日和".
My OJT's finally back in office today. Actually I've only been working with him for like a day. The FDO's afternoon, during which we spent all the time setting up the PC and helping him move stuff from 5F to 4F; and the morning of last Thursday, when we are supposed to have a medical check in Tokyo in the afternoon.
I've been reading papers and a US patent during these days, and learning C sharp by writing a small piece of software.
And I'm a little depressed to learn that besides the US patent, all other materials & docs related to research are in Japanese. That's gonna kill me.

Oh By the way, i used the company toilet again this morning. Feels SOO Cool.

Thanksgiving For All

Thanksgiving is a time for togetherness... it's an occasion to be spent in the warm and loving company of family, loved ones and friends enjoying turkey roast and pumpkin pies with them. Thanksgiving is also an opportunity to renew the ties that bind us with the ones we love... it is a time for remembering, cherishing and being thankful for all the good things you have been blessed with. So it's time to say 'Happy Thanksgiving'
I forgot to bring my cup with me. So I went down to the pantry trying to find a paper cup. There was none. I ended up buying a bottle of drink. I selected a soda lemonade. BUT it was HEATED. And it's really HOT!
This is just soooo weired!

Finally, Finally I've tried the AssHole flushing closestool @ FujiXerox. The 1st time I saw the machine, it reminds me of MS flight Simulater. Complicated!
But it feels a little bit strange. Though I've turned it down to the smallest gear, it still feels like somebody's putting a finger in your ass. Can't imaging what's gonna happen if I turn it ON! Maybe I'll fly right up from the "Pilot's seat".
In the early Morning Rain
In the early morning rain with a dollar in my hand
With an aching in my heart and a pocket full of sand
I'm a long way from home and I miss my loved one so
In the early morning rain with no place to go

Out on runway number nine, big 707 set to go
But I'm out here on the grass where the cold winds they do blow
Where whiskey it was boss and the women they were fine
Well now there she goes my friend, now there she's rolling down the line

Hear the mighty engines roar, see the silver bird on high
She's away and westward bound, far above the clouds she'll fly
There the morning rain don't fall and the sun always shines
She'll be flying over my home in about three hours time

This old airport's got me down it ain't no earthy good to me
Because I'm stuck here on the ground, cold and drunk as I can be
You can't jump a jet plane like you can a railroad train
So I'd best be on my way in the early morning rain

So I'd best be on my way, in the early morning rain.
There was heavy rain fall last night. Since i live at the east south corner of the house, rain drops could hit my window directly. The sound was so loud and scary, and it kept me awake for a long time before i could finally fell asleep.

7:30 in the morning, i got up. Thrilled to find it shinny, however, depressed to feel that my teeth still aches. It hurts when i chowed my Bak'N'Bread.

When I got everything ready and opened the door, a stream of rain came running through. Oh, dear God! This is actually something that should happen to the "Sobudaimai" Guys.

The moment when i arrived at the station, a train was pulling off. I dragged my clumsy body to get across the overhead to the platform on the opposite side. Woow! Luck that i caught it.

I was wearing a black T-shirt inside. (The "That's the most Beautiful there" one.) It sends out a werid smell after sorbbing my sweat. I took it off when I arrived at Office. It should be "That's the most SMELLY there" for the moment.

We had Japanese Class every Friday. We were asked to write a small essay using Japanese. This is so hard, but rewarding, this is actually the most effective way to learn a foreign language. Since you need to think about how to use the grammar, the sentence patterns together with the new vocabulary.
However, my Japanese still sucks! It seems like me and the language are in some parellal universe. There'll be no intersections...

After the whole day class, all of the 10 VFP members headed to a small Chain Noodle shop where a Chinese servant works near Sobudaimai. The guy comes from FuQing City of Fujian Province. A place famous for stowaways. I ate up the 290yan Noodle in good time and still felt a little bit hungry.

Later on was the visit to other 4's dorm.
The distance between their dorm and the rail station is a little longer than ours, it took about 12 mins. But the place is more civilized than ours. At least they can find somewhere to eat after work...
Their kitchen is bigger than ours. But they don't have porch over the door. Unlucky dudes! Think about was may happen in Summer Rainny Seasons...
These are actually the only comments.

After several rounds of Killer Game or someone may call it "Mafia", we went back to Tsurumaki Onsen. We dropped by at a supermarket call "food garden" hoping to get some food on discount. But when we arrived there, the store is closed. There was only a clerk arranging the shelf. He was definitly scared by this crowd of Chinese people at the door during late night.

It was 9:45 when we got back to Tsurumaki Onsen Station. The ticket office was closed. So My hangers didn't get back.

It's not so easy to past the weekend all alone.
But it's lucky that 6 of us live at the same place. We actually formed a mini-Chinatown. Otherwise, I would probably kill myself over weekends.

There are lots of Haccos & Jaccos (crows) flying in the sky.

Friday, November 17, 2006

Last night I went to KSP with another VFP member to meet Terry, a Colleague of Annie. KSP seems to be a more modernized place than Tsurumaki Onsen and Nakai Center.
I'll head to a place call XinYuri to have my Japanese Classes today.

Thursday, November 16, 2006

We will go have a medical check in the afternoon in Tokyo. And we are not allowed to eat anything after 8:00. You'll gonna feel Seeing Johny but hearing Tommy in the afternoon.

Wednesday, November 15, 2006

I went to bed around 18:30 last night. Cuz i felt really dizzy during the day.
Feeling much better now.

I missed the 7:45 shuttle bus at the Hadano station. I arrived at office at 8:15. After swicthing my moniter to the digital output, i went upstairs to the lounge to have a cup of coffee. However, I ended up in vien. Though it sign reads Open, there was on body at the counter. So I can get back and drink my own tea.

We will have Japanese Class on Friday. But my Japanese still sucks. I need to work on it for the next 2 days.

Tuesday, November 14, 2006

I've been feeling dizzy since this morning. I just can't hold on for more than 15 mins.
The aircon in our dorm goes down every 3 hours. So I always wake up feeling cold in the morning. I can even fall asleep when typing. I'll have a 1:1 with my mgr around 4 in the afternoon. I wish I'll not fall asleep then.
This is the second day at work. It's nice that Nakai Center is located near Mt. Fuji. We can see Mt. Fuji through our window. This is so great.

It seems like that i caught a cold over the days. The temperature dropped below 10C during the morning after the rain on weekends.

Saturday, November 11, 2006

I've just settled down in my dorm in Japan. Post here some of the notes taken these days.

2006-11-6 in Tokyo
Japan Airline JL792 brought us to Tokyo Narita Airport today.
It is actually the first time I've ever been abroad. And this may also be the first time for many VFP candidates.

It was reported that a bird hit the engine of our plane before we took off at Shanghai PuDong Airport. The plane departed around 3:15 PRC time which is an hour and a quarter behind schedule.

There was dinner served on the plane. I mistaken French salad sausages for some salty sauces, and unfortunately put it on my beef & Spaghetti. So I’ve had the weirdest beef on the plane. "The Pirates of the Caribbean Sea" helped me to kill the 2 hours trip. We met some turbulence when we fly over the “Internal Sea” of Japan.
Around 18:15 (Tokyo Time) we hit the ground. Carrying my laptop and a small baggage, I made my first step onto the Japanese soil.

10 of the VFP members gathered at the exit of the airport around 7pm. Tokyo is a bit colder than Shanghai during the night. We took a bus to go to the Fuji Xerox Training Center which is located in a mountainous area. We rode for like an hour and a half before we stopped at a place call “Ebinan” (海老名). It was like a big shopping mall. And we had dinner there. The dinner was kinda expensive, it cost me like ¥1080(Japanese Yan) to have a dish of some beef & rice. After another 1.5 hours ride we finally arrived at the training center.

Yue Ming, a Chinese lady who works at the Fuji Xerox HR dept. told us that there was no elevator for this 4 storied building, so we have to move all of luggage manually. And it’s sad to discover that there’s no internet connection here in the training center. There was only 3 telephone card so that we have to call home in turn.

Okie, and so much for tonight. I need to get up around 6:45 tomorrow morning, since breakfast time is 7:45. Wish the best for the orientation week here.

2006-11-6
Good morning Japan!
This is actually the first working day that we will have for the coming year.
I got up around 6:30 in the early morning. I didn’t slept well last night, cuz it was really cold in the apartment. I woke up from time to time. The first day was filled with all kinds of orientation activities. From company briefings in the morning to tons of paper works in the afternoon and a introductive Japanese survival training program to the party in the night, we had a full schedule. And it was carefully kept within the planned time frame.

2006-11-8
I didn’t write any dairy last night, cuz I was hanging out with other 6 VFP members playing the “Killer Game” in one of our dorm. The game was interesting if you try to play it among people that you know well. It will uncover some of the natural instinct and something that lies in the sub-conscious mind. But it seems like I have a good intuition. Maybe it’s mainly the reason that I’ve a first time player.
We were occupied in the “Inter culture” training & Survival Japanese training yesterday. Nothing special.
This afternoon we will visit a small town which is 15min away by train to utilize the Japanese we’ve learnt these days.
My Japanese somehow still sucks, but I’m getting on-board. I’m gonna have a nice try.
We’ve found that we can access the internet in the classroom, if possible, I’ll post these blogs on to the web tonight.

We headed to Odawala 小田原 around 1:00 in the afternoon. It takes us about 15 minutes walking to the rail station. The train ticket cost like ¥210.
We had ¥2000 as our budget. We had to buy a post card, a cup of drink in the local coffee shop and visit the Odawala Juo (小田原城).
We were asked to get back to the Odawala 駅around 16:30.
We first headed to the local post office to buy a post card which can be sent to China. And then we went to the Odawala Juo which is near by. After visiting the Japanese Castle, we headed back to the station, hoping to find some place where we could sit down and have a drink. At last, we settle us down in a KFC shop. A cup of ice cream cost for like ¥190. We were the first one to arrive at the station in the night. It was dark when we get back to the training center. There was a party during the night, we gathered in the classroom and discuss on what we’ve seen and heard during the afternoon visit. And all the pictures taken have been shown.

2006-11-9
We had whole day class for today. The lectures were still focused on the Survival Japanese Language and inter-cultural Communication skills. During the night, we went to Odawala to “KARAORKA”. Tomorrow we will set out in the morning and we will visit a place called 镰仓. And we will be handed our to HR tomorrow night. On Saturday morning, we will check out and will leave for our dormitory and our real life in Japan.

2006-11-10
Today has been a quite relaxing day. We’ve scheduled to visit a place call “Kamakura” for the day.
The great Budda statue in Kamakura, the great Sea view, nice Japanese Lunch & the dearly beloved raw fish during dinner. This seems to be a honey moon period.
The Killer game lasted till 2 o'clock in the morning, everybody seems to be sooooo excited!

But Raw fishes seems to get me down, I "DEFICATE" from time to times. Approx. 3~5 times a day. Oh Jesus Christ!

Today I'll travel to school to bring back all of my stuff there.

Wednesday, November 01, 2006

I went to ECNU to attend a campus talk of Nestle, a food and baverage company. They were recruiting Management Trainees.
The talk sucks somehow:
The hall is only half filled. Cuz most of the students moved to MinHang. They need to move this kind of Campus talk to MinHang. It will attract more students and even students from neighboring JiaoTong.
It appares that the campus talk mainly focuses on introducing their business instead of the job, (the intro part lasted too long, under the bombarment of the European Gentleman's Terrible English, half of the audience fell asleep.)
The 2006 management trainee who is supposed to share some BKMs was not excellent. She even cracks her presentation.
