All the plans

I'm always thrilled of making plans. However these "Carefully" made plans seldom have chance to be executed.
So quit wasting times making Stupid Plan. We can sit there making the list till sunset, but nothing will be done! Just Do It. Tick the task off the list. Kick those shit off the table.

My Winter Holiday

I'll have winter holiday from tomorrow till Jan. the fifth.
A lot of stuff to do ahead.
I'll set aside 2 days for relaxing, one day with other VFPs, one day just for myself. Maybe I'll stroll along the streets in Tokyo or Yokohama. Just to smell the city.

Any way, Happy holiday and happy new year to everyone.

The One With All the New Year Resolution

After 3 days, I still can NOT believe that I lost my key for the second time in just 4 days.
I've put one of my two new keys in the locker while asking 100,0 to help me taking care of the other copy. My new year resolution would be:
"Never Lose ANYthing @ ANYTime in ANYPlace!"
And I've been in my RED underwear for 2 days, everything seems to be back on track. It works! Wish All the best in the tiptoeing new year.

(Shit, this Japanese keyboard is killing me with an incredibly short space key and you can't find the bracket key nor the quotation mark. Everything is not in its place. Every-Fu*king-Time, I have to switch to US layout. The most unbearable thing is that you have to press the button labeled with another mark.)

I lost my Key yet AGAIN!!!!

Putting on a Red Underware would be Job 1!
I believe that they have a really good story to tell next year's VFPs.

So Addicted to Hon-Atsugi

Hon-Atsugi is a small town located in Kanagawa Prefecture in the middle of Japan. It is actually the closest town to where I live. I came here for the very first time last Wednesday night with another VFP member to get mobile phone for yet another VFP member. Then it seems that I can’t stop coming out here: last Friday for Bonnangai; last Saturday for my cell phone, which is called KeiDai here; last Sunday for a cup of afternoon coffee and winter sun-shine in a small coffee shop at the street corner; this Wednesday night for a gathering with a bunch of strangers who I’ve bumped into on the internet; this Thursday night for dinner with Sandy Wang, who came all the way from down town Tokyo to be my Translator of the Leopalace worker.

I’m so addicted to this small town.

Enoshima

I got off work at 3 o'clock in the afternoon yesterday.
Headed for Enoshima which is a small island down in the south.
It is said that there will be X'mas lumination there.
The electrical X'mas tree was good.
Found a lonely luminated deer where Santa may probably got away and was lingering in town.

Home Visiting System in Japan

I gotta to find some time to try this one. Seems to be interesting to spend a night with an ordinary Japanese family.

The Home Visiting System is publicised in JNTO(Japan National Tourist Organization) pamphlets and gives visitors to some of Japan's larger cities the oppportunity to visit a Japanese family in their home. Visits take place in the evening and, while dinner is usually not served, the hosts will often provide tea and sweets. It is polite to bring a small gift with you when you visit to show your appreciation of your hosts's thoughtfulness and hospitality.

Meet the Japanese at home-Home Visit System in JapanYour most memorable experience in Japan could well come from meeting local people who can interpret the meaning of their customs and lifestyle. There are many ways to get in touch with the local people, but visiting a family would undoubtedly be the best because home life is the most illustrative aspect of traditions of a certain country. This is particularly true in Japan where the family has long been the core of the development of its culture and tradition.
The Home Visit System, designed to offer you as the foreign visitor a chance to visit a Japanese family at home, has been operated in 13 cities including Narita, Yokohama, Nagoya, Otsu, Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe, Kurashiki, Okayama, Hiroshioma, Fukuoka, Kumamoto, and Miyazaki. In these 13 cities, there are about 800 families in total, voluntarily receiving foreign guests into their homes for visits without any monetary compensation. English is spoken by most of the host families and some of the family members also speak French, German and other languages.
One closing thought - Do you want to know why Japanese people are so slim? Ahah! You'll have to stay for a few weeks and find the answer for yourself.

Jmpression

Recently, I've been frequently asked about my impression of the country.
This might be some of my answer.

Few country make such conflicting claims on the imagination as Japan. The mere mention of the word Japan is enough to set off a cascade of contrary images: ancient temples and futuristic cities; mist-shrouded hillsa nd lightning-fast bullet trains; kimono-clad geisha and suit-clad businessmen; quaint thatch-roofed villages and pulsating neon urban jungles.
Amazingly, all of these images are correct.

Meeting the Japanese
In general, it is quite easy for you to meet with Japanese people. At least on a superficial basis. Japanese are very curious about other countries and people and are keenly interested in how Japan is perceived by outsiders.
By far, the best place to meet the Japanese is in an izakaya (Japanese pub-eatery). After a few drinks, you'll find people just about queuing up to talk to you. Indeed, you might even find the attention cloying after a while.

Shyness
The Japanese are a relatively shy lot, especially when it comes to deal with foreigners. I believe there are two reasons behind this: first, most Japanese speak limited English, and are afraid of making mistakes. Second, most Japanese have had precious little interaction with foreigners and simply aren't sure how to handle the situation. So, when talking to a Japanese, you'd better speak slowly and clearly and always approach with a smile on your face.

Lonely Holiday

Round 'n round
Carousel
Has got you under it's spell
Moving so fast...
but Going nowhere
Up 'n down
Ferris wheel
Tell me how does it feel
To be so high...
Looking down here
Is it lonely?
Lonely
Lonely

Did the clown
Make you smile
He was only your fool for a while
Now he's gone back home
And left you wandering there
Is it lonely?
Lonely
Lonely

Out of my mind these days

I've been back from a trip to the toilet, just found out that I've worn my underpant inside out.
I'm feeling out of my mind these days. The spec's driving me crazy.
I even fell asleep during a one on one meeting with my mgr yesterday. (Dude.. You'r gonna get fired!)
I used my badge even when the door is open;
My left foot always steps on my right foot when walking;
Often got choken when drinking...

A Little Hitch Hiker

Oyama Climbing

We spent the whole day in the mountain without seeing any Momiji.

I took my love and I took it down
Climbed a mountain then I turned around
And I saw my reflection in the snow covered hills
Well the landslide brought me down
Oh, mirror in the sky, What is love?

Can the child within my heart rise above
Can I sail through the changing ocean tides
Can I handle the seasons of my life
I've been afraid of changin'
'Cause I've built my life around you
But time makes you bolder
Children get older I'm getting older too

Strange dreams kept on hitting me

A weird dream again last night.
I became a woman, and I was flying to some place with a middle aged white man who might looks like Steve.
