Rainy Days and Mondays always get me down

It's a rainy Monday today.
Opened my eyes and saw the clock hitting 9:40. Ehh, nightmare flash back.
Took a half day leave for the morning and started work around 12:30 in the afternoon. Finally all the demo video are finished. Read some framework and took the last bus back home.

Had a new hair cut today

Just come up here to report on the things that I've done over the weekend.
I got up around 11 Saturday and cleaned the house in the morning, after some light reading in the afternoon I hit the local supermarket. I somehow made a mistake buying a kind of half cooked chicken which is dressed with pepper. It tastes so weired. I swear that I'll never touch that again.
Well still stick to bread and noodles for weekends, since I've never used the rice cooking machine left from our predecessor and never planning on using them, cuz they are just DAMN dirty!

11 o'clock Sunday noon I got up.
Finished up the chicken with 2 slices of bread and a small piece of chocolate.
Well, I then went to the QB house at TokaiDaigaku-mae station to have a hair cut.
They used vaccum cleaner after the cut. It was so powerful that I felt it would suck my head into it. It was so loud, I can't hear anything when the barber was holding it near my ear. 10s more, I'll become deaf.
After that I found some place near the Hadano station to read my "Ace Your Case" guide. The case interviews seem to be easy, but when I tried to do it myself, it just became so mean...
Feel that I need to get to know more frameworks and find a partner to do some mock interviews.

Back in the dorm in the night, put on my suit and rehearsed the mid-term presentation, a bit out of control of time. Need to cut something out and focusing on the most important part.

No Title, just another piece of crap.

I gotta go to bed now.
We went to the Cherry Blossom Festival at US Army Camp Zama yesterday.
All I can remember now is the Living Rock concert preformed by "State of Man", The greasy Rib, really icy coke, the Cherry leaves blowing in the wind.

I spent all day staying at home staring at the foils that I'm supposed to use at the mid-term presentation. And finally, I got some thoughts on how I should organize the thread.

Tomorrow would be a busy day, Since We will enter code-freeze after Wednesday and the China vs. Japan Table Tennise Game in the night at Tsukahara Training Center.

Okie, see you in 24 hours from now. Night Night.

Stop 2: Imperial Palace

After wandering around Kitanomaru-koen for about half an hour, I set off to Imperial Palace taking the Hinomaru Line again. Imperail Palace is just 2 stops away down the line. Walking from the Otemachi station for just 3 minutes, you can see the moat of the palace. Again the fish in there was freakily BIG!

Stop 1: Yasukuni Jinja 靖国神社

After losing myself in Shinjuku Station and failing to find the local train heading for Mejijingu, I decided to visit Yasukuni Jinja first.

With all the Cherry blossom right above head, holding the board for the whole day could top the list of the most boring job of the day.
Old Eki-in holding the board

After a ride on 2 metro lines and a 10 mins walk I saw the gate of the Jinja in the mist of a bazaar.
The gate of the Jinja from Afar

There was no sign indicating any political controversy. Neither can the right-wing black vans be found around the place. Maybe they are busy enjoying the Cherry Blossom season. To my surprise I found 3 big buses carrying nearly 200 Chinese to the gate. With the political environment getting stable, our fear of persecution vanished.

Sculpture standing in front of the gate

Well, I'm not of those who cares about politics. Sakura and the Tatemono were my targets. Tried my best to keep my Camera off the chaotic bazaar and politic related stuff.

Flower And People : One Day Trip to Tokyo

Too Tired to write anything, just note down the route here. I'll come back sometime when I can feel my legs again.

I set out around 8:30 this morning.

8:35 Bought the Tokyo Metro Free Pass
Odakyu Line to Shinjuku
Marunouchi Line to Akasaka-mitsuke
Change to Hanzonmen Line to Kudanshita
Walked for 10 minutes and arrived at Yashukuni Jinja.
Later went to the near by Kitanomaru-koen

Took the Hanzonmen Line again and continued to Otemaqi station.
Walked for 20 minutes and reached the Imperial Palace.
Asked a French guy to help taking a picture of me and the bridge. However the picture was...

Walked to Hibiya Station to take the Chiyoda Line and six stations later, Got off at the YuShima station, which is only 5 minutes walking away from Ueno Koen.
Later took the Chiyoda line again and got off at MejiJinGoMea. Asked by 2 Japanese Oldman to take a picture in front of the entrence.
Spent the afternoon at MejiJinGo and Yoyogi Koen which is just right by the Jinja.

Took the Marunouchi Lane again planning to hit Tokyo Tower during dawn. However in the wrong direction. Anyway just took 3 stops more to go to Ginza and visit Apple Flagship shop and the Kabuki Thearter there.

Went to Tokyo Tower after the Ginza tour. Had meal at the small Japanese shop which by the way is the cheapest :...(
Spent sometime finding the Tower, Cuz I was walking in the wrong direction and went back from a route which is sth. like 1km further.
Met a Swedish couple while I was resting down by the tower.

The went back to Shinjuku wsihing to check out the Kibuki-cho. Getting lost when I stepped into the buiset train station of Japan. So spent 20 minutes more trying to find out how to go to the east side of the station from the west side with a young couple from South Africa who had asian faces. They were looking for their hotel which is at the corner of the Kibuki-cho. (The girl was really hot :) Kidding...)

Then Odakyu Line..... Tsurumaki Onsen.... Home..... Blog....................................................
